Chaoblog (The Blog) for May 7, 2007:Our Interview With Bryan Gannon: A Rehash
I hope everyone got a chance to read our interview with Bryan Gannon from last week (if not it is time to click on that link). He let us in behind the scenes of Chaotic and how it came about. He also explained to us why this game rocks and how it will differ from many of the other games already out there. Although it was not an in-person interview, Mr. Gannon was very impressive even over the phone. What I liked most about him was that he seemed to really care about the customers -- you and me. He was not interested in just making a few buck off of us, but wanted us, the players, to really enjoy the game and to make use of the available technologies so that we get the best game play possible.
It is pretty cool to interview someone on such a high level of a company. I really appreciate Mr. Gannon taking time out of his busy schedule to talk to us. Hopefully, we will get another chance to talk to him once the game goes live.
As noted in the last post, I still have not yet pre-ordered any boxes of either the starter or the booster boxes. I will probably do it this week, just to make sure I have them on hand for the launch, but buying boxes is just so expensive. But if I do not pre-order, there might not be anything on the store shelves come June 27th. On the other hand, if I do pre-order and the stores do run out, I will be the most popular guy around.
